This class is designed to offer your child a hands-on, interactive year of discovery and serves as a launching point into PREP's comprehensive science program. Looking through a biblical lens, students will develop an appreciation of God as Creator as they study animals, plants, ecosystems, matter, sound, rocks and minerals, weather, the solar system, cells and skin.
 
The lessons will be centered around a weekly reading assignment, as well as pages to be completed in the student activity manual.  Your child will participate in class discussions, group and individual activities and experiments.

Most tests will be sent home to be taken under special instruction.

Required texts and materials (provided by parents):

Science 3 Student Text (4th Edition), Bob Jones University Press

Science 3 Student Activity Manual (4th Edition), Bob Jones University Press

Other supplies required will be detailed at the PREP Orientation.

Prerequisite:  Students must be at least 8 years old and read and write proficiently at a 3rd grade level.

Tuition: Monthly tuition is due the first class of each month.  Late tuition will incur a late fee of $5 per week.  For students who drop the class after September 30, three month's tuition will be required as a drop fee.  For students who drop the class after December 15, tuition for the remainder of the year will be required as a drop fee.
