Jean Allison has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with an Engineering Option from the University of Missouri of St. Louis.  Her graduate work includes two years in the Ph.D. program in the Space Physics Department at Rice University, Houston, Texas.   Mrs. Allison managed an international chemical distribution company for fourteen years specializing in technical sales in the area of PVC extrusion.  In 2010 she began her teaching career primarily focused in the field of physics.   Mrs. Allison is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Sealy.  She and her husband have two children, that they home educate.
